Meet Nazanin Spohr
The concept of an architectural work often being perceived as a cultural symbol and a work of art is something that is more than just familiar to Nazanin, as growing up in Tehran, Iran, a place where ancient arts and architecture have been commonplace for many centuries, has given her a deep understanding of the interplay of architecture, art and culture.
Nazanin holds a Master of Architecture, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Calgary, and an Associate Degree in Architecture from Soore University in Tehran. She is registered as an Intern architect with Alberta Architects Association, with aim to pursue her license. Nazanin is currently a Canada Green Building Council member and a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. She has over five years of combined experience as an Intern Architect, Architecture Technologist and Designer, in numerous Architecture, Engineering and Design firms. Nazanin’s technical skills are extensive, encompassing Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vectorworks, and Adobe Creative Suite to name a few.
Nazanin draws on her diverse multicultural experience, extensive technical skills and her work experience to formulate unique designs and concepts that effectively reflect the functional, social, cultural, environmental, technical and aesthetic requirements of a project. Her drive, dedication and determination are only exceeded by her positive attitude and passion for the field of architecture.
